Welcome to The Celtic Tavern at Riverside Downs
Welcome to the Celtic Tavern at Riverside Downs. 2620 W Belleview Ave, Littleton CO 80123 Tel 303 795 0709 fax 720 283 4178 email Celtica.Jones484@gmail.com ST PATRICKS DAY 2012 we are opening 10 am, however we cannot take table reservations due to high volume, but we look forward to seeing every one for a fabulous and fun Day. Riverside Downs was opened on March 21st, 2008 and has a slant for the modern day Celtic nations. The focal point in the main bar is a stone tower which reflects the tower at Glendalough, enhanced with colors of modern day Ireland.
The Celtic nations of Wales, Cornwall Brittany Scotland and Ireland are blended together like a good cocktail to deliver a Celtic experience. The cosy room at rear of the restaurant overlooks the Platte river and is proving very popular for parties. Riverside Downs was previously a race course, so our Paddock room is adorned with vintage racing silks from Wales and Ireland, and pictures of the famous 'Arkle' are featured on the walls alonside the legendary Aintree story. We can host a party - large or intimate, complimented by our Very popular Party platter or 1/2 platter, where your guests can feel free to wander onto the ajoining patio. Our large outdoor patio faces onto the Platte river and makes for the perfect spot to enjoy a 'Pint of Plain' - yer only man!
